I just received my awesome Rainbow Row Dress in Citrus and I adore it!! Would it be too much to wear bright shoes with it? I was thinking Orange or hot pink, but … I’m unsure

Hey there! Isn’t the Rainbow Row Dress in Citrus a fun number? I definitely think you can rock this dress with any number of bright accessories. Pink or orange would actually be perfect to really bring out those colors from the print, but I can also see blue as a pretty pairing option. With a novelty print like this, trying out something new is always a great first step to crafting up the perfect look. Add on even more bold accessories like a belt to break up the print and you are set! I really hope this helps! <3 Kelly, ModStylist

I recently bought the Learning to Fly dress (so cute), and i’m having trouble figuring out how to wear it with anything other than solid black flats.

Hi there! I am in absolute love with the Learning to Fly Dress, so, first off, amazing pick! ;) Though it would look perfectly adorable with basic black flats and a cardi, you can also jazz it up with the addition of some color. It would look so lovely with a plaid blazer or polka dot cardi along with a pop of color — red, yellow, or soft pink are all awesome options. Check out these accessories for some inspiration. Enjoy experimenting with your new dress! <3 Jess

Hi! I recently received the rock legend top as a gift and I love it! What are some ways to style it for work and just casually?(for summer and fall)

Hey there! I’m totally crazy about skulls and the Rock Legend Top is no exception. For a work-appropriate ensemble, try adding on a structured blazer and skirt like the Stripe It Lucky, as I did here. In the fall, you can simply add a pair of tights and classic pumps for a warm, transitional look. To wear this top for more casual outings, you can never go wrong with a pair of high waisted jeans or shorts. A pair of laced oxfords or sneakers are great options year round for a cute, casual style. Play around with bracelets, earrings, and rings and finish your look off with a killer bag and you are set for any occasion! <3 Kelly, ModStylist

hi there! i recently received my All the World’s a Birdcage Dress in the post and i’m wondering if you could help me style it into a full outfit?

Hi there! I love ModPeep Lauren’s ensemble here. The purple cardigan and orange heel give the dress pretty pops of color! The Charter School Cardigans are super transitional pieces and look great over a dress. Try the dress with lace up flats for a more casual look. Hope this helps! <3 Amy, ModStylist

I need an outfit appropriate for a job interview, but I would still like some colour and fun in it! What blouse would be appropriate, but also look nice with a black blazer overtop?

Hi there! Great question! In this blog post, I created a few work/interview appropriate looks with a classic black dress, and added pops of color with bright bags and a blazer. If you plan on wearing a black blazer, try a jewel-toned dress or blouse underneath with coordinating colored heels! Hope this helps! <3 Amy, ModStylist

Hi ModCloth! I just bought the Worth A Tricolor dress and I’m so excited to start wearing it when it gets sunnier! I bought it to wear as a sundress, but I was wondering if there is any way to dress it up for fancier occasions.

Hey there! I actually own the Worth a Tricolor Dress and have found it to be one of my go-to pieces for day and night, particularly in the warm weather! With the red, blue, and grey coloring, adding a sunny pop of a yellow blouse underneath is a quick way to add some polish and pep. You can also work in wardrobe staples like a blazer, pumps, or even a fascinator to really jazz it up! I also love simple embellishments like the Gild With Surprises Bracelet and the statement worthy Drive Me Navy Necklace to top your look off. For more ideas, make sure to check out our Fancy Frocks collection! <3 Kelly, ModStylist
